Relational trauma therapy & Depth work

The style of therapy that I practice is called depth therapy. This approach focuses on uncovering deeply rooted relational issues that are causing reverberations in your adult life. My approach is highly somatic and relational, holding space for all parts of you, how these parts feel inside, and how they show up in relationships and the outside world.

This is a dynamic, deep-diving therapy approach that tends to your deepest hurts so that you can live your fullest life. We will focus on discovering and healing attachment wounds and relational ruptures, placing emphasis on what happened to you, NOT what is “wrong” with you. I will help you reconnect with your body using somatic tools, so that you can understand what is happening in your nervous system without shame or blame. We will work on reclaiming your agency and building tools to regulate your nervous system so that you can feel safer inside yourself.

Cyclical patterns in adult life almost inevitably can be traced back to early experiences—for better or worse. This is why in therapy, we will honor all of your experiences, exploring how these intermingled to shape the way you show up in the world today.
